After the characters stellar introduction in last month's Captain America: Civil War comic book movie fans are looking forward to seeing British youngster Tom Holland as the MCU version of everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The young star will be supported by an amazing cast in next year's Spider-Man Homecoming, which is set for a 7th July 2017 release. Although Marvel Studio's premier wall crawler will be facing off against three villains portrayed by Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, and Bokeem Woodbine, he will be getting some tutorage and likely some support from Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark AKA Iron Man.
Filming on the Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures reboot begun early this month in Atlanta, Georgia. As Holland explained in an interview with SHH last November the productions location filming will primarily take place in Atlanta before moving to New York to help make the as-of-yet undisclosed budget spread as far as possible...
“We’re shooting in Atlanta for most of it, because they have studios there and I think it’s cheaper to build a New York set than it is to shoot here, because it’s going to be very expensive. We probably will end up here (in New York) for one week or two.”
Unsurprisingly, filming on location gives fans chance to get a sneak peak of the cast, and with franchise movies such as this, the chance to catch the cast in costume. These photographs courtesy of Looper (where there are plenty more photographs) were snapped showing Holland in his Spider-Man costume preparing for filming and performing one of his own stunts...
And our personal favorite, in which it seems actor Tom Holland is channeling his inner-Deadpool...
