A brand new featurette of Independence Day: Resurgence was released today providing additional footage and information about the defenses of Earth. 20 years after the events of Independence Day new technology has been developed in an effort to weaponize alien technology from the initial invasion. In this ceremonial video, we can see new orbital stations, a weaponized Moon base and the fancy new F-22 hybrid Fighters that will be used to destroy the second invasion aliens.
This video is a tease of what we can expect in the coming weeks as we are under 2 months of IDR being released. A heavy emphasis has been placed on the new set of characters in the sequel who will serve as the next generation of war heros.
