Every 23 years, for 23 days, in the countryside of Florida something ancient awakens and hunts, replenishing its organs with those of its victims. Known as the Creeper this winged humanoid creature often disguises himself as a Scarecrow, hiding in plain sight among the cornfields of the Florida countryside, or running its victims off the road in its rusted pick up truck.
In 2001 a farmhouse was discovered with a "Tapestry" of human victims sewn together in its extensive basement, each body missing a different organ; some of the victims bodies appeared to be over 200 years old. Days later, tracking down a bus full of high school children returning from the state basketball championship game, local farmer Jack Taggert tracked down and wounded the Creeper; which remains on display at Taggerts farm to this day.
Jeepers Creepers and its 2003 sequel brought to the big screen a new legend of horror with its supernatural antagonist the Creeper, inspired by the English Victorian folklore legend of Spring Heeled Jack, and possibly also of the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper, the movies, which helped launch the career of American Actor Justin Long, have proven popular with horror fans worldwide. Aware of the movies successes writer and director Victor Salva announced that he is keen to return to the Florida countryside where the Creeper likes to prowl...

Jeepers Creepers 3 is expected to film in Vancouver, Canada early next year. Francis Ford Coppola, Kirk Shaw and STan Spry will produce, with Myriad Pictures' Kirk D'Amico acting as an executive producer. Jonathan Breck will return as the Creeper.
