Jason Voorhees / Friday the 13th is getting its own prequel TV series and the show just quietly wrapped filming! Spearheaded by the same showrunner who worked on the IT prequel series Welcome to Derry, Brad Caleb Kane, the Voorhees show stars Linda Cardellini as Jason's mother Pamela Voorhees! Aiming for a 2026 release on the Peacock network, the series is officially going to be titled Crystal Lake.
Callum Vinson will play a young Jason Voorhees before his transformation into the Horror icon we're familiar with today. The series will also star Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Nick Cordileone, Danielle Kotch, Phoenix Parnevik, Nancy Nagrant, and Joy Suprano.
