The Bourne movies are those movies that whenever you catch them on the TV you find youself watching, guilty pleasure action movies that seem to have given birth to a new rise in unsuspecting one-man-army action flicks such as John Wick, The Equalizer and Taken, in which the one man you shouldn't mess with doesn't pertain to the tropes and stereotypes of the usual action movie stars - shaved head, muscles and either a foreign accent or a quiet, whispery voice.
Matt Damon has played Jason Bourne in three of the four past movies, with Avengers star Jeremy Renner taking the lead in the last movie; The Bourne Legacy. This summers Jason Bourne looks set to be the climatic finale in the series as the title character has finally recovered from his amnesia and has uncovered the secrets and mysteries of his past, though he doesn't seem to happy about that - should make for a good movie then.
Jason Bourne is directed by Paul Greengass, stars Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones and Ocean Twelves Vincent Cassel and will explode into theatres July 29th 2016!
