If today couldn't get any crazier! A new official website has been released by 20th Century Fox highlighting what the world came to in teh aftermath of the "War of 1996". From this footage we learn much more about how the world came together and rebuilt following the massive destruction set forth in Independence Day.
From what we can tell, we get additional content that was not seen in the trailer, including what happened with the United Nations, destroyed cities, and the rebuilding process. We can confirm that Will Smith's character, Cpt. Steven Hiller (Col. Hiller by 2007) was killed in an alien ship test flight in IDR Year 2007. You can check it out for yourself!
