Last week fans around the globe witnessed the terrifying return of hostil aliens in the epic Independence Day: Resurgence trailer debut. We were introduced to many familiar faces and we got our first look at the incredible alien technology both mankind and the Hive will be using during the next confrontation. It's been 20 years since the events of the first Independence Day film took place - and a lot has happened in those 20 years.
Today, we've learned that many of those events will be highlighted in an upcoming comic series from Titan Comics! Thanks to the folks at io9 we have a rough plot outline of the first two issues as well as a few pieces of cover art!
As our world unites against invaders from beyond the stars, beneath the Atlantic Ocean, another mysterious craft prompts a top-secret investigation by the US military, one which could prove the key to humanity’s survival... or its ultimate destruction.
With fear and suspicion running rife aboard the sub, Adams prepares to embark the alien vessel in search of answers. But how will its extraterresterial crew react to unwanted visitors onboard?
