After many... many years, fans of James Cameron's blockbuster titan Avatar will finally get a glimpse at its long-awaited sequel! New reports suggest the first teaser trailer for Avatar 2 will play during previews of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' theatrical debut!
The Doctor Strange sequel arrives May 6th, 2022 so we expect the Avatar 2 teaser to make its way online that same day or closely around that date!
We've learned a lot about Avatar 2 over the last year, like how it will take place primarily in the Oceans of Pandora and will introduce audiences to a new race of alien Humanoids called the Metkayina. We'll also see a number of familiar faces reprising their Na'vi roles.
Avatar 2 will arrive December of this year in theaters with Avatar 3 hot on its tail, releasing in two more years, sometime in 2024.
