I did think that they was trying to burn something and maybe the escaped Squid Thing. So maybe yes that could be the case. Close look it does not look like a Helmet. But maybe it could be?

I think he's carrying the helmet with the skullcap he's pulled off his head. He doesn't even need the suit, it's a vanity that he's even in one. Imagine if it's a library cataloging the literally millions of different biosphere's the engineers may have seeded. The sheer number and potential for something unanticipated to happen would make me turn tail and get the hell out of there, brrr....

He likes the 2nd movie but I reckon the first movie is a complete story and the second movie was only made because the fans demanded it, which spoils the validity of the first movie. _anyway Alien 3. yeah i think its him unless someone photoshoped it......but what i don't get is in that bit of the film clip were this pic is taken from a lot of things are going on if u watch the clip you see a dude jumping off that truck thing on fire and if u keep watching the clip and shop it just right you can see a space jocky with his helmet on picking up sum guy and sending him a cross the room..what i'm geting at y would he be there when thats all going on?.....

Thats mankind for you. We love Taboo, we see Rules made to be broken. If you had a Door thats painting with Do not enter Extream Danger Alien Contamination. You think people are all gonna stay away..... We like the unkown, the Danger, to push ourselves, to do stuff we not suposed to do. I mean take God he wrote all those 10 Comandments and most wont go to Heaven because of the Sins we do. Maybe if God never made those 10 Comandments maybe we would not all be breaking them lol.

I was looking at the photo's on that site and sat here for a moment. It never dawned on me before strangely enough. If you look along the ribs on the walls of the chamber there are openings on each one that could have extruded the eggs. Though there is no gantry and crane mechanism visible of course. Quite a fall for something so fragile unless something we aren't seeing exists. The point is, what if the Mala'kak ship being biomechanic made those eggs. For decades fans have wondered how they got there, where the xenomorph is etc. Just another thing that Prometheus will answer for all of us, I for one can't wait!!

lol.... Makes a difference, its usually the other way around. sometimes a movie will be near to DVD release in the US or actually just come out, when the same movie comes out in the UK in the Cinema.

I am also going for the different Ship to in Alien Scenrio. Yes it and Space Jockeys look a little different but as i said the slight differences to the ships are nothing really they look different but are meant to be same kind of ship. I liken this to how the Viper Fighters in BattleStar Galactica from 80's and latest version look a little different but suposed to be the same thing. Not like the Cylon Ships that look a lot different. The intresting thing to me is the Alien Derelict does not have the like Sarcophagus things around the centre where the Pilot Chair and Cannon/Scope rise. What happened to these if it is the same ship? This leads me to think its not the same ship but same type of ship none the less and looking at scenes there could be more than one Hanger where they come from. As for how the film will pan, well i expect it to suprise us and be really thinking out side of the box

I have had a similar private theory that the ship is not only bio-mechanical in nature, but is alive itself. And its resemblance to a spider has not been lost on me...

I think it is david , and i think he is carrying , the squid thing from shaw in a plastic sphere , i mention this on the facebook page , in the tv spot you see a clip of flame throwers and behind the flames you can see what looks like the sphere again open on the floor !

Nice Work. My mom uses to know someone who she went school with who in the 80's and 90's had a place at Blackpool Pleasure beach that people would pay a small fee to enter and he created models from bits of scrap and he created a very good full Size Alien. I think he finished it at around time Aliens came out. Maybe before.

I dont think it matters what they base the Movie on. They could go the whole Ancient Astronaught route. They could go the, they meet Jesus himself route. They could even base the story and creation of man on the Smurfs breeding with the Wombles. I dont think that any theory they use matter as its a movie and its Sci Fi. It does not have to stick with Science, because some Science would teach that we are unique ro the Universe, others say thats impossible. Anyway Science/Evolution has just as many unanswered questions and holes in it.

Alien sound track on vinal. Good luck finding this at all on vinal. Great thing is it is in perfect condition, cover is perfect and I only played the album once. I found once at scifi fan show for sale about 20 yrs ago and the guy was asking a couple of hundred for it.

@craigamore If Ridley has a lot of say on what the Trailers contain i dont think he would to give nothing away, he comes across to me as a guy who gets very defencive and proud of his work and would want to keep a lid on any spoilers. So if he had a influence on what we see, well he has shown a fair amount. A fair amount that leads to a potential Story with many explanations and Speculations. I think he has done this to throw us off and i think compared to what we may be thinking or expecting, i think he will give us something thats a little out side the box. Thats a big risk and one that could be great or back fire... so who knows Slime that changes into Space Jockeys and Changes Humans into Space Jockeys and Shaws Baby Squid becoming the Mother to all Alien Xenos are a bit way out ideas. Maybe those strange ideas could be close, or who knows Ridley could have a even more bizare Story for us. I expect us to be suprised and him to be giving us a thinking outisde the box Story.

Here's a thought ... what if Weyland DID NOT go into CryoSleep? ... and the other crew members didn't know he was on board ... and David looked after him while traveling for the 2yrs? ...

Interesting with that fish it looks a bit Alien in 2nd photo. I know they found that Moray Eel have a 2nd pair of jaws to pull prey in, like the Aliens have. And scientist only discovered that a fair few years after the Alien/Aliens movies.

I recently sold my original Kenner 18" Alien. Mint in box for just under $500.00. I paid $8.00 from a toy store clearance table! If I could go back in time, I'd buy them all.

The original "House on Haunted Hill" with Vincent Price. Not because it was that scary but because every kid in the neighborhood and beyond built it up WAY out of proportion. When you went into the theater, you were convinced you'd be frightened. I agree with Starbeast. Some of the Outer Limits episodes scared the **** out of me.

Believe it or not, Arachnophobia was the only film to succeed in keeping me literally awake all night, neatly punctuated with short nightmare bursts. I can still remember feeling of being under siege from spiders on every wall coming after me. But watching The Thing remake with my older brother was horrendous - it was the first time I found deception attributed to evil and the concept crippled me. Same with Alien. @craigamore, yeah Unsolved Mysteries was so scary and yet so addictive. And some X-Files episodes like the fluke worm one and the stretchy guy really were chilling. Must also mention an Outer Limits episode about the Boogey Man - scared me pissless (and I was well into my teens)!

I remember a trailer for a movie called " magic " I think about a puppeteer. There a scene where somebody opens a closet and finds a creepy puppet. The other ones were posters for 2 ,movies: Happy Birthday To me and a weird one called ABSURD.

I agree, must be Weyland because they said they would be giving away too much of the plot if they keep talking about Peter Weyland's age and involvement in the mission.
