In Disclosure Day, many people keep experiencing unexplainable encounters. Crop Circles are seen forming in real-time (in the same fashion as seen in the only ever real-word documented Crop Circle forming video recording), among other strange phenomenon. As the hunt for answers continue, more aggressive encounters begin to occur, revealing more about the mysterious alien species discovered on Earth. Are they hostile?What are their intentions? What do they want with Mankind? How would Humanity react to the answers to these questions? These are the concepts which will be explored in Disclosure Day.
The film not only touches on the very real possibility of extraterrestrial life (which has essentially already been disclosed by the U.S. government), but also acknowledges the existence of God and the implications of the two in relation to the other. A quote by a nun which concludes the first trailer reads: "Why would he make such a vast universe yet save it only for us?" – with imagery very akin to Michelangelo's Creation of Adam painting:

Who are the main characters?
Emily Blunt plays a weathered reporter / news anchor who becomes affected by an alien presence – acting as a conduit for spreading their message. The first trailer for the film shows her speaking an alien language on live television during a weather report as she disassociates from reality. Blunt's character isn't the only one affected, suggesting aliens are interacting with Humans on a deeper level.
Other cast include Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo.
