Beipiaosaurus has peaked my interest

Is it possible we are all engineered as "Aliens" as an experiment ? A dangerous experiment just as the xenomorphs ? Just not as acutely deadly ? After all look at our reality. All it took to wipe life off of Earth was to contaminate it with humans. Had it been Xenomorphs, the death of the world would have just been quicker. Maybe we were created by Engineers as a bio weapon. When they saw David, they may have realized just how potentially deadly humans are, that we too had evolved to a point where we could also create, but ultimately are a destructive race.

CHAPTER 22: THE MOLE

The xenoborg guards detect movement from around the corridor through their onboard motion detector, readying their grafted railguns. The motion detector paled in comparison to the xenoborg’s natural xenomorph senses. Through its carapace it can feel the vibrations in the ground better than the motion tracker. The xenoborgs picked up the pheromones of the intruders, the surgically grafted neural interface registers the intruders as blue, human. The two senior members of the Wraiths approached the xenoborg guards, their Weyland-Yutani badges were immediately registered by the xenoborg’s cybernetic monoeye. The xenoborgs allowed the two wraiths to enter Chaolan’s laboratory.

Chaolan carefully extracts a vial from one of the freezer units, the vial contains a dark greenish fluid inside, he glanced at the security footage and spotted Nikita and Genji outside of his door. “Shit they're here” he quickly places the vial inside a syringe gun before shooting the contents of the vial into his sister’s IV. Chaolan quickly closes the door to his sister’s chamber before entering the main chamber of his laboratory. Genji and Nikita enter through the main door. “Ah Yamato-Hendrickson and Silvermen, what a pleasant surprise” he tried to hide his nervousness.

“You know why we are here,” Genji retorted.

“Hand over the samples,” Nikita demanded at gunpoint.

“Silverman, we need the doctor to come with us willingly, we don’t need an unwanted incident” Genji glanced at his partner.

“He is too dangerous, he might try something” Nikita motioned her head towards the open freezer unit, “look the freezer is open”

“I was in the middle of packing away the samples for transportation, in case you haven’t noticed we are in the middle of an evacuation” Chaolan retorted.

“That is why we are here, you and your sister are to be evacuated to the nearest company station...” Genji suddenly drops to the floor, after a loud bang. Chaolan looked down at him in shock before glancing back up at Nikita.

Nikita holsters her sidearm, “Gomensei, Genji. But your usefulness has come to an end” she walked over her former comrade as she inserted a memory stick into the computers; to collect the data off of them.

“Why Nikita?” Genji looks up at his former comrade writhing in pain.

“Because” she turned around, “Chigusa Corporation, pays better” she reaches over at her belt and unhooks a walkie talkie-like device, she squeezes the device as a signal enters the computers. The doors containing the more advanced hybrids slowly begin to open. The xenoborgs outside of the room were reprogrammed to shoot all weyland-yutani personnel on sight; including Wraiths. The xenoborgs sense three moving bodies, pheromone color, blue.

“No, not the newborns!” Chaolan nervously glares at the sliding doors. A dingy white claw grasps at the side of the door frame. The rest of the creature pulls itself out of the cramped room, its double jointed legs stomp on the metal floor. Its disturbingly skeletal human face stared curiously at the Nikita with its beady little eyes. Then it glanced over at Lee Chaolan, it roared furiously at the scientist as it slowly approached him.

Nikita smiles, “Bon Appetit,” she snarked as she removed the memory stick from the computer as she made her way to the exit. She noticed the xenoborg guards had left their posts, the walls were covered in bullet holes. She could hear faint gunfire echoing from the corridors beyond.
The newborn almost trips over Genji, the creatures glared at the man near its feet. It tilts its ugly head to the side before tilting it back, it roared angrily as it kicked Genji across the room. Genji was briefly airborne before hitting his back and head against the computer terminals.

Kazama, Rocheford, and White were running down the corridor as the xenoborgs pursued them. “Shit dead” Asuka Kazama cursed.

“Urg what are we going to do?” Emlili Rocheford asked rhetorically.

“We must think of something?” Tyrone White argued.

The two xenoborgs draw close, their weapons systems lock on to three blue targets in front of it. The targeting system detects five red targets and a single green target rapidly approaching their position. The computer systems re-evaluated the priority of the targets, its top priority was to destroy the green target. The xenoborgs turned away from the lost souls to face this new threat.

“Let’s go, we need to report back to team leader Yamato-Hendrickson,” Emili suggested.

“First we regroup with Blagovich and Rizal,” Asuka countered.
“Who died and put you in charge?!” Emili growled at her counterpart.

“Funny, I can ask the same of you, blondie!” Asuka retorted.

“Such profanity coming from a lowly Jap!” Emili counter retorted.

“You wanna fight?! C’mon, bring it. I double dare you!” Asuka snarled.

“Ugh, such boorish behavior, how unbecoming of a Wraith, wouldn’t you say?” Emili replied.

“Hey ladies, ladies. Please, chill out! We regroup and that's final, capish?” Tyrone attempts to separate them.

“Fine, we will do it your way then” Emili growled.

A loud inhuman roar echoed from the corridor beyond them, the screeches of xenomorphs in pain and the clashing of metal followed shortly after. One of the xenoborgs is thrown into the main corridor, its head sliced cleaning in two. The other xenoborg's remains are splattered all over the wall. The lost souls make a run for it past the corridor, Asuka glanced down the noisy corridor and spotted a large humanoid figure standing on top of a dead spike mohawk xenomorph. Asuka recognizes the hulking muscles, the fleshy dreadlocks, and that metal mask. “Yautja...” she muttered under breath. “Lost Souls, let's double time it!” Asuka shouts to her comrades.

The being looked up at Asuka, her biomask reads the oomen’s heat signatures but her targeting reticles locked on the leading oomen’s weapons. Specifically the sword she is carrying. Youma clicked her mandibles as she recognized the blade. “Kainde Amedha Slayer?” She removes her combi stick from the dead boar-spawned xenomorph’s head. A xenomorph bursts from the floor panel to grab the yautja huntress, she slices its arms off with her smartdisk in hand, before kicking the kainde amedha further into the floor. She looks up as she activates her cloak, her body vanishes out of sight as she begins to pursue the lost souls.

Lee Chaolan fires a couple of rounds with his VP07 pistol into the newborn. The newborn roared as the bullets only served to piss it off more. The creature grabbed Chaolan by the shoulders before shoving him into the wall near his sister’s chamber, forcing the gun out of his hand. Chaolan’s hand accidentally touched the door’s hand scanner. “Shit!” Lee cursed as the newborn raised the silver haired scientist up to its mouth. Lee couldn’t help but smell its horrible hot breath on his face, as saliva drips from its crooked teeth. Lee spotted something moving in the corner of his eye, it was his half-sister, Ling Xiaoyu.

Ling grabbed the newborn by its sickly yellow-white arm, the newborn turned its gaze at the girl. Her strength was surprisingly strong, the newborn unfurls its brow in curiosity, it could sense something is different about this human. Ling’s eyes were pitched black with red irises, her veins were tainted black due to the serum administered to her was rewriting her DNA. Ling weakly turned to her half-brother, “Lee… w..what's happening to me..e?”

The newborn grows impatient as it releases its grip on Lee, only to lash at Ling instead. Ling falls on the ground, her right arm now covered in blood. She looks over to see the creature’s handiwork, large chunks of flesh were removed from that arm, exposed muscle and bone. Lee quickly dives for his gun as he squeezes off a few shots into the hybrid. The newborn turns its gaze towards Lee. Lee bolts to exit while firing into the hybrid’s hide. Attempting to lure the hybrid away from his sister.

The pathogen quickly regenerates the damaged tissue. Ling sees the newborn taking the bait. Ling sneers as the pain in her arm intensifies, the human flesh peels away as her right arm rapidly mutates into something less human. She stares at her newly reconstructed arm in horror, it was a xenomorph’s arm. She could feel further changes as if something was growing beneath her skin. CLICK CLICK CLICK, Lee was out of ammo.

Ling’s mind was racing as alien urges polluted her thoughts. Survival, kill, flee! Ling snarled as she and the Newborn glared at each other. Both size each other up, looking for weakness in their adversaries defences. Ling charges towards the Newborn, taking advantage of her size difference. The newborn opened its jaws to their furthest extent as it bellowed an intermediation roar, flaying its tongue around. Ling snarled back as she charged straight towards the hulking albino hybrid.

The Newborn counter attacked but between its clumsy movements and Ling’s nimbleness; it failed to land a hit on her. Ling crouches before throwing her fist in the air, landing an uppercut into the Newborn’s jaw; the force of the punch dislodge her fingernails. However her overconfidence left her defense vulnerable, the Newborn bear hugs Ling while digging its claws into her. Ling snarls as the Newborn extends its long tongue around Ling’s face. The newborn squints its beady eyes down at her before retracting its tongue. BAM! The newborn releases Ling from its grasp, the white hybrid turns its attention back on to Genji.

“You're an inspiration for birth control” Genji shouted, his railgun smoking. “Dr. Chaolan, here's a new clip!” Genji tosses a fresh pistol clip to the scientist.

“Get away from my sister, you failure!” Chaolan bellowed as he continued to fire into the hybrid. The newborn’s brow furrows angrily, it lets out a high pitched whine before turning its gaze on to the girl. Ling slowly stood up, the Newborn backhanded the girl in the face, knocking out her teeth. The newborn turns back towards Chaolan.

“Fai-lure?” the Newborn uttered in a deep gurgling voice.

“Yes, you are a failure! Trash, a mere stepping stone!” Lee retorted.

“I, no failure… I, beautiful… Butterfly!” The newborn begins to make gurgling noises in attempts to chuckle. The newborn despite its large size took to the ceiling, outmaneuvering Genji’s railgun’s fire before plopping down behind the wraith. The newborn bites into Genji’s skull like an apple before throwing the lifeless corporate black-operative to the floor.

Ling’s eyes slowly open, she spits out blood and teeth as she slowly returns to a standing position. The pain in her mouth intensified as new sharper teeth began to replace the dislodge and missing human ones. Ling dropped to all fours like a xenomorph. Her dislodged fingernails are replaced with claws. Ling snarls at the newborn, the hybrid turns its attention back to the girl.
Ling sprints on all fours like a monkey, the Newborn couldn’t react fast enough as Ling leaped onto its shoulder. Ling bites into its neck while grasping a hold of the newborn’s flappy skin. The newborn angrily roars as it attempts to grab Ling by the neck. She kicks away the Newborn’s right hand, then its left hand. The hybrid charges into a computer terminal, Ling refuses to let go. The hybrid begins to scratch at her back, Ling ignores the pain. The newborn thrashes itself around to dislodge the girl from its neck. The Newborn makes one final attempt to pull her off, by doing so Ling rips out the Newborn’s juggler; spraying its acidic blood all over Ling’s body.
Ling falls on to the ground writhing in pain as the acidic eats away at her skin exposing her new form that has been growing underneath her skin.

“Ling!” Lee runs over to his sister’s melting human form, “Ling?”

Ling slowly rises from the blackened puddle that was once her skin. She mostly resembles an H-series xenomorph with its rusty brown coloration and fleshy exoskeleton; however she carried a few noticeable differences. She retained her gender characteristics, her face was more human than the newborn’s visage. The rest of her head was elongated like a shark’s fin. Ling hisses at her brother, Lee aims his pistol at her; hands shaking. He couldn’t tell if there was anything left of his sister in the creature’s red glaring eyes. Lingomorph slowly stands up right, she cracks her neck before approaching her brother. She lowers the gun away from her. The look in her eyes softened.

“Lee..what...has..happened..to...me?” she asked in a raspy voice.

“It will be alright sis, it will be alright” Lee hugged his sister.

“I... feel... strange…, can…. We… go… home?” she struggled with her words, her tongue felt alien to her.

“Yes” Lee stared at what was left of Genji, Lee took what he could off the dead wraith. “C’mon sis, we need to leave this facility”

Yeah, I also think the prequels are dead. That timeline just doesn't support enough xeno versus marines action.

Yup. I think they will just be ignored. besides It was RS's idea to explore the backstory..... and i can guarantee you the majority of the fanbase just wanted an ALIENS type movie. IF we were shown some xenomorph action in 'Prometheus'....I don't think we'd be having this conversation. David and Shaw fleeing the xeno infestation on LV-223 would have led to many prequels (IMHO ).

David,  shooting another xeno "perhaps we locate another functioning spacecraft? There is another tomb not far from here"

Well the SCOPE of the Engineers is MASSIVE.... but so is the Size of the Galaxy, the Engineers could be Located in other Places like 5000, 10'000 even 25'000 LY from Planet 4 and so they maybe would NOT see our Expansion as a Massive Threat, but they would be IF we could USE their Technology and Reverse Engineer it.

The Engineers could be Mainly Located in other Galaxies too....... the Engineers could RETURN to Planet 4 like every 200-500 Years.  Have they ever been back to Earth to check on us like 500, 1000 Years ago... and IF they did they would NOT see much to Worry about...

Our Technological Boom began 200 Years ago, and we have made Incremental Advancements since then... and Especially the Last 50 Years.

On a Galactic Scale... the Engineers could be Few and Far Between and our Galaxy is HUGE.....

I would have taken the Prometheus like 1300 Years to Reach the Center of our Galaxy and for the Covenant about 600-650 Years.  However as we Progress in the Franchise Time-Line the Ships get Faster.

Regarding to Actually see a SEQUEL.... i am NOT sure we would EVER see any or any Conclusion to the Prequels.  I think the NEXT ALIEN MOVIE we would ever see would be more like a ALIENS.... and i would NOT RULE OUT the Future of the Franchise being Rebooted as FAR as the Prequels... i FEAR that the Prequels will NOT be Classed as Canon in 10 Years Time.

I don't think he's that bad of a choice either. Sure it's an odd choice, but I do think he could do a good job. Interestingly, he mentioned in a video that he's been working on his Mario voice, hinting that he won't be using his normal voice. I also think that the rest of the cast could do a good job with their roles, Jack Black as Bowser seems really fitting.

If they involve the Engineers again.....I think their story needs to end ( killed / transcend / etc..).

Or..... Maybe this isn't the Engineers galaxy. They just arrived ( millions of years ago ... quick on the galactic timescale! ) and have yet to populate the galaxy ( just Earth and a few dozen planets).

Setting the Engineers up as the creators (seeding the galaxy! There're everywhere!) then dumping them after a few scenes is just bad. 

If RS sees a cool location then we'll likely see an Origae-6 movie.

Wherever they go...I'm 100% sure the next movie will have to include xeno's and marines.

That isn't the first time WB did this. Bryan Cranston is an infinitely bigger name than Millie Bobby Brown and he was advertised front and center as the main character for Godzilla '14. The ads and trailers made it look like Cranston was going to go up against a villainous Godzilla and we ended up getting something different.

To be fair, regardless of their quality, Godzilla vs. Kong and Kong: Skull Island were probably the two most honestly advertised of the Monsterverse.

I dont think that Origae-6 would COST a LOT to Create.... i would Imagine the World would be like the Location that Raised by Wolves or the First Planet of the Apes Movie were SHOT... and so it would be kind of Baron, more Desert like but it would have Water and Vegetation just it would NOT be a Lush Wooded Environment like Planet 4.  I assume this as Daniels wants to Build a Cabin on the Lake, so it has Water, but then they Determined that Planet 4 is more Suitable Beyond the Best Estimates for Origae-6.  I think the Planet would have NO Intelligent Species and it may have NOT as much Life as you would Expect to Find in a more Green/Cooler Climate.

The Problem with going to Origae-6 if the Events of this would IMPACT the Path to ALIEN is you ADD another 7+ Years to that Already TIGHT Deadline of up to 17 Years before the Nostromo turns up at LV-426 and thats WHY i WOULD give Origae-6 a PASS.

Who knows what the Engineers would DO if they Catch Him... i am sure IF they Discover he had Caused what Happened on Planet 4 and they would due to the Holographic Recording Tech.... then i SUSPECT they would just TEAR HIS HEAD OFF and SMASH IT UP!

As FAR as WHAT they would do with the Colonist.... well they COULD THINK........ like "Ok so you guys have Caused all this to OUR WORLD, we are Gonna take them Eggs and those Humans and Experiment with them or USE them to Create other Horrors"

I Suspect the Engineers see us as Insignificant...

They may be Intrigued by David/Walter though but IF they Discover that they (Synthetic Humans) are the Reasons for those Dead Engineers, then i think they would want to DESTROY them ASP!

How would they REACT if they came Across say Modified/Genetically Engineered Human Hybrids?   So they would see a Humanoid Form that THEY had NO PART in the Creation/Evolution of.... maybe they would be Intrigued/Interested?

I think having something SET on the Covenant could Work.... i Proposed a Idea some Years Ago....

David does begin to Experiment on some of the Colonist..... but his Experiments will GET OUT OF HAND......

We Begin the Plot/Story with the Covenant Floating in Space and it Arrives near Origae-6 (or maybe NOT) but something Happens to Awaken some of the Colonist, they go to Explore the SHIP and they Discover Horrors.... Parts of the Ship have been Quarantined Off... the Awoken Colonist then Discover as to WHY..... as they FIGHT to Survive the Menace of Xenomorphs..  They Discover in Cryo-Pods some Modified Human Hybrids.... who Pose a Threat too when ONE is Released from its SLUMBER...

Some of the Colonist then Discover... Walter he is Torn in Half.... he asks to be Repaired and Gives some Excuse to WHAT had Happened... as he is Repaired/Uploaded to another Body.....

They come Across Daniels... she is Incapacitated she is Mutated into a Hybrid and she then ASKS to be Killed..... but either Warns them.. or they Discover that Walter is NOT who he Claims... 

Its then just to Figure out the Ending..... does the Ship go and Crash on Origae-6? or another World?  The Surviving Colonist will Escape in the other Lander/Loader.............. or David Escapes in that... and the Colonist attempt to Crash Land the Covenant?

The Problem we have is HOW do you have the Engineers Involved.... that would be TOO MUCH to FIT into One Movie... UNLESS you RUSH or Sacrificed Parts.

One Solution is the Covenant goes to Near LV-223 but then SURELY as its Close then David would take Colonist etc down to LV-223?  so there would be LITTLE POINT in the PLOT i have Given!

The other OPTION would be that the Engineers will Turn Up at the END with Walter as some HOW he has been able to Inform the Engineers or where David/Covenant was going.... or that the Engineers gained this Information from Walter in some way.

The Problem is we are going to Origae-6 and so the END of this Movie would leave about 10 Years before the Nostromo will Arrive at LV-426.

For me you just LEAVE it so David/Covenant will go to Origae-6, well we SIMPLY do-not go and FOLLOW them....

Company Arrives at Planet 4... maybe with another Walter Unit.... they Discover Horrors, Davids Experiments etc ect.... and then Walter and Repair Him....

Some Scientist on the Mission have a Objective to OBTAIN a Specimen... and WALTER will Refuse to Allow that.... but he then gets into Conflict with the OTHER MODEL that is with the W-Y Science/Rescue Vessel..... who like ASH will Comply with Gaining the Specimen.

The Engineers can Return at the End of the 3rd Act to then SET-UP a Sequel... this Sequel will Conclude with going to LV-223 where the Engineers or Company/Synthetics will MASS PRODUCE the Eggs we see them Loaded to a SHIP and you can LEAVE IT at just that.....

The Events of these TWO Movies will be Closer to LV-426 and could TAKE PLACE like 3-5 Years after Alien Covenant...

Also If Mario doesn't command Yoshi to attack, like how Owen does with Blue, I will be somewhat disappointed

Bizarre Casting aside, I'm still pretty optimistic about the upcoming Mario movie. It's still too early to know what the movie will be like, it could be good or it could be bad, we'll just have to wait and see. I've seen a lot of people loosing it over this news and I think they're being a bit too over dramatic. Considering that Nintendo is working heavily on the film and considering how protective they are of Mario, I feel like they wouldn't let the studio screw it up, so it could be decent. At the very least it will be more faithful games than the 1993 live action movie. Personally, I've wanted to see a fully animated Mario movie for a long time, so I'm not going to let questionable casting ruin it for me, yet.

Walter is a Bishop like character and we need closure.

The Engineers catching David and returning him to Planet 4 makes sense. Maybe to stand trial? RS would probably like that. Also Shaw's grave is there and maybe a chance to do something with that angle. Plus plenty of spores.

Yeah, that would make a good movie and easy on the budget. David and his creations versus marines. I'd pay to see it! 

Reanimated Peter Weyland would be a nice 3 or 4 page Dark Horse comic Halloween issue.....But I don't see Marvel doing anything cool like this.

Though with Marvel's "WHAT If..." series?? Alien would be a great for this.

I have seen Strange Things a Number of Time.....

Been a Few Instances where i could NOT go and and say ok thats a Satellite or Space Debris or a Aircraft....

I have seen a Triangle UFO in 1996 but we call it the Dudley Dorito around my Parts..

A Alternative that has been Discussed before was that WOULD we see David wait to get to Origae-6 before he Attempts to Experiment on the Colonist?  Or would he do it DURING the Journey?

WHAT HAPPENS when things GET OUT of Control?

WHAT HAPPENS when another Ship then Intercepts or Investigates the USCSS Covenant should it become a SPACE HULK?

Regarding David as a Important Character then YES that what RS thought...

With the PLOT IDEA i Proposed as a Prometheus Sequel... then having a Mission go to LV-223 and to NOT go and follow David and Dr Shaw... does-not mean we CANT have Fassbender.... he could have came to LV-223 as another David Model... like Walter was...

If we go for a Alien Covenant 2 where we again DONT go where David is going, the Company could SEND in another Walter/David Model and we also have Walter on Planet 4.... what STATE is he in?

For me i think that going to Planet 4 again is the WAY to go NEXT!

The Company will KNOW a bit of WHAT it is that David has done.. the Advent Message seems to Indicate that Planet 4 is where the Company would FIND the WOLF that David has Created... it seems LIKELY they would go to Investigate.

We see that David is OFF to what we can ASSUME is Origae-6 and he has just the TWO Tiny Face Huggers....

Planet 4 has that Room that David had showed Oram the Eggs... there is like SIX of those at Least that Remain.... and THEN we have to ASK to WHERE was it that David had GOT the Tiny Face Huggers?   In his Workshop we see Tiny Eggs, and so HOW MANY MORE of those Tiny Eggs are there?

And so Planet 4 has MORE like Xenomorphs than David is Carrying with him on the Covenant.

To CONNECT to ALIEN..... we have to see Davids Xenomorph be Evolved a BIT and then END UP on the Derelict on LV-426 in their Thousands..... 

Well you DONT have to Follow David/Covenant to Conclude such a PLOT...

The Company/Engineers have MORE than Enough Eggs on Planet 4 to then take to LV-223 to Mass Produce and LOAD onto Ships... and we then KNOW what HAPPENS after this ;)

Ridley Scott had Claimed that it would NOT take a Lot....  The Juggernaught Model Ships seem to have 6 Cargo Holds and Ridley Scott had said that ONCE the Bio-Weapon gets into a Water Supply it can EFFECT a LARGE AREA.

With Alien Covenant then it seems David had Unleashed just a SINGLE CARGO HOLD, the Bio-Weapon seemed to NOT have a Large Radius as a Pathogen it would NOT have taken a LOT.... the Very First COVID19 Outbreak had came from a Small Source.... but the Black Goo seemed to be Different to a Pathogen/Virus like COVID.

With Prometheus and Comments by RS it seemed to Indicate the Pathogen can EFFECT a Large Area, but with Planet 4 then it Seemed to have a Different Effect than Expected.

We saw the Urns Explode and the Liquid from Prometheus had seemed to Become more a Mass of Particles it was more like Raining Down Black Grains of Sand than a Black Thick Liquid.  The Pathogen also seemed to look like it HIT a Invisible Dome before it Penetrated.

Could there had been a Force Field that Protects the City (well Courtyard) but it was NOT made to withstand a Black Goo Bombardment or it Failed?

The Pathogen seemed to Become a Thick Liquid of Sorts when it Infected the Engineers and it seemed to Replicate/Grow in Amount and then seemed to Explode/Escape from the Engineers and then Spread to Infect others.

But all the Bodies by the Time the Covenant Arrive seemed to be Turned to like Stone.... well they Dried Out like some Amphibians can.

This is NOT what you Expect from Prometheus........but IF you knew of a Pathogen that is Organic and Infects Organic Matter and can Spread via Organic Matter, then HOW could you STOP IT?   If there was something you could CAUSE that would DESTROY all Organic Matter..... make all Cells/Molecules become DEAD then they could Prevent the Spread and also HALT the Pathogen.

If you had something that would RENDER say Genetic Material in way to Crystallize it, or Dehydration Organic Matter... then maybe the Pathogen can NO LONGER be Effective?

Take the Gekko on the Right.... if this was Infected with some Virus etc but there was something that Could Instantly Dry it out like the Left then Chances are the Virus would also be Halted.

If the Engineers had a SAFETY DEVICE like this... and they Activated it then this could EXPLAIN why the Engineers looked like Dried Out Mummies... and then WHY it was that David was able to Find Life on the Planet and some Alive Engineers.

Such a Safety Device could have a RADIUS and so Everything within so MANY MILES could be Effected.... Apart from Engineers who are away from the Radius or they are WITHIN a PLACE that is Shielded from it....

Thats NOT to say this is Correct.... it could be that those Urns in that Cargo Hold were Activated in a Certain Way or Programed a Certain Way to do what we saw in Alien Covenant.

The Neomorph Spores seem to come about from Knocked Over/Leaking Urns in another Cargo Hold after the Juggernaught had Crashed and its Contents then Infected/Mutated some Fungi Spores that had Developed.  The Neomorph Spores are something you would Expect from seeing Prometheus and HOW the Leaking Urns had Affective Organic Life.

Indeed this has Happened in all the Sequels to ALIEN.... when they Need a Plot they come up with something for Plot Convenience without giving it MUCH of a Thought because we are MAYBE just NOT supposed to ANALYZE the Movies too much ;)

Yeah who knows what the Black Goo can do... when somebody Dies it takes TIME for all their Cells to Die and Decay......  If you say had COVID and someone had Died and you Tried to give them the KISS OF LIFE then while they could NOT be Saved.... you could still had Passed the Virus to them and the Virus would be able to Reproduce/Spread with the Fresh Host... even after Death... Unless they had been Dead for Long Enough that their Cells begin to Die/Degrade etc...

So YEAH maybe the Goo could bring Weyland back to LIFE.... and HOW like IRONIC would that be.... he wanted Immortality or Extra Life and he is Resurrected as a Zombiefied Horror.

Also, they basically set up Madison for a larger role but didn't even have the decency to follow through with that in Godzilla Vs. Kong.  So it was all basically a wasted effort on WB's part because they were claiming they were doing all this stuff with an insanely popular actress when in truth they weren't.

The thing is, the fact that they were advertising Millie so much (due to name value) makes WB look more pathetic than they already are as they're basically saying that they have no faith in this movie being watched.  They went to insane degrees to push the fact that they had an insanely popular Emmy-Nominated actress in this movie about monsters beating the heck out of one another just because they're not sure how many US Godzilla fans are there and they don't know if casual viewers will care about the movie so they're basically bribing you to see it at this point.

What's annoying about KOTM is that sure Madison did stuff but WB forced the claim that she was the main character so far up our [REDACTED] that people were expecting that and then....we all know what happened.

Peter Weylands body aboard the juggernaut: Probably crushed or pulped from the collision and surface tumble! Maybe the Deacon fed off it for awhile and there is nothing left ( egg morphed? Peter is in the cycle of life ) OR some black goo canisters opened during the tumble and some goo covered his body and reanimated it...Zombie Peter Weyland would be cool!

Yeah, not knowing how much black goo it takes to cleanse or reset a planet is problematic. Also how many worlds are they targeting? Hundreds? Thousands...Millions? Probably need a lot of canisters. David wiped out a city with a filled juggernaut...but that was just a tiny area of the planet.

Great point!    Could of Had David explore the derelict on LV-426, cutting the hole in the floor...removing some eggs and setting the distress beacon would have been enough for me.

So for ME.... the BIG MISTAKE they had Made.... was to have a Literal Prequel and bring back the Xenomorph.

Ridley Scott wanted to GO where David and Dr Shaw would go and to STEER AWAY from ALIEN and Xenomorphs.... but then the Powers that BE had Decided to make a Literal Prequel Route.... and introduce the Xenomorph and its Origins and as RS wanted to KEEP it so David was a Important Character.... then Sacrifices had to be made....

NOPE!

They should have Sacrificed Davids Journey (well put this on HOLD)....

And they should have GONE BACK to LV-223.

What about David????  well they Send Down another David Model but ONE who is more like a Walter....  This David could Establish some Connection with the Systems in the Life-Boat to get some Information... maybe he would Detect some of the Interests and Stuff that David had been up to?

IF they then go to the Outpost that Weyland had Met his Demise, then WHAT would the other David be like when he sees his Creator is their DEAD!

Prometheus had CLUES to ALIEN its just they was NOT like SPOON FED... its Pretty Obvious that the Xenomorph was Connected to LV-223 in someway, and that a Engineer Ship at some Point must have LEFT this Place with those Eggs or maybe it was Arriving with those Eggs?

There were at LEAST 4 of those Complexes on LV-223.

Do we ASSUME that Each of the Complexes had Exactly the Same kind of Experiments?  Did all of those Complexes have the Exact same Black Goo and Effects?

Ridley Scott had Indicated that the Derelict was on LV-223 at some Point and that the Derelict had Ended Up on LV-426  within a Few Hundred Years of the Outbreak and that SOMETHING had Evolved in the Cargo Hold.

And so then you can ASK.... was the Derelict the ONLY other Ship that had something Happen/Evolve in the Cargo Hold?  If something had Evolved from the Experiments/Black Goo to give RISE to those Eggs, then there could be Similar on LV-223.

You could have something SIMILAR but Different to the Xenomorph where you would see a Connection but you would STILL NOT have it Spoon Fed but where the Conclusion is Easy to see.

So SAY they Encounter something like above in another Complex on LV-223 or in the Cargo Hold or even a Underground Egg Silo etc...... and IF there are Enough Clues to HOW the Engineers had Obtained/Created these NEW Xenomorphs... then you can LOGICALLY had Concluded that the Xenomorph in ALIEN had a Similar Origins.

The FANS get some Answers, they get a more ALIENY MOVIE.... then the DOOR to ALIEN can be Closed!  But you OPEN the Franchise to more Xenomorph Variants.

THEN............... Ridley Scott would be FREE to go where David and Dr Shaw are Heading and NOT have to be Shackled Down to ALIEN or the Xenomorph and to then OPEN UP a Expanded Universe Spin Off.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go in that direction either, they did tease the idea of Kong finding others of his kind in the Hollow Earth during GvK. I think the idea of Kong interacting with other Kongs is a really interesting idea. The only time that's been done was in King Kong Lives, and while that movie is really bad, the idea of Kong finding a mate is a cool concept and, if done right, it could make for an amazing movie.

Indeed it would just be another Coincidence if Origae-6 was a Engineer Outpost, so what we have been Theatrically to LV-426 (Twice) and there is a Engineer Ship, we been to LV-223 where we have Engineer Ships, and then Planet 4 with Engineer Ships.... to go and have Oriage-6 as another Place with Engineer Ships would just be TOO MUCH of a Coincidence...

As of Alien Covenant we are 88 Months from before David will Arrive at Origae-6 if this is where he GOES..... so he would Arrive about the First Week of April 2112 some 10 Years and Two Months or so before the Nostromo Arrive on LV-426.  There is Quite a BIT to Cover in those 10 Years before we get to WHEN the Nostromo will Arrive.

It would be LIKELY that the $&£% Hits the Fan (Engineers Arrive) between say 2114-2116 and so then we are LEFT with the Derelict being on LV-426 for what?  5-7 Years say?

So IF they made a Sequel/Continuation then i think they either have to

a) Take the Covenant Ship to LV-223 (take 4-8 Weeks Tops)

b) Simply do-not have WHAT it is that David does NEXT have any Effect on LV-426 and so the Events that Lead to LV-426 will come from Planet 4 (Eggs) to LV-223 (Mass Produce/Evolve).

Certainly..... its Interesting as to WHAT becomes of Weyland Industries in the Years Following the Prometheus Mission, we know the Company will Merge with Yutani at some Point over the Next 3-8 Years and with Yutani being BIG on Software and Communications, in the Background Information its Indicated that the Prometheus has some Yutani Tech!

And so you would ASSUME that either Weyland or Yutani or the Merged Company would have GONE to LV-223 before the Covenant Mission and in doing so as Planet 4 must be Located within say 10LY of LV-223 then we had to ASK as to HOW they Never Detected Planet 4?

It all came down to the PLOT CHANGE.... and Plot Conveniences Needed...

IF the Sequel to Prometheus was to Literally Connect to ALIEN via 2-3 Movies and with a 28 Year Period to WHEN the Nostromo would Arrive on LV-426, then for the SET UP you would NEED to have Human Characters and so by Virtue of having David go to a Engineer World.... then this WORLD could NOT be Placed like TOO FAR away so that Humans in the Years 2100-2105 could Reach within a Short Time.

For Example if David went to a World say 1600LY Away then the Nostromo would have taken 33+ Years to get there and so WHAT are the Chances that W-Y Ships that are 10+ Years Older would Arrive like PRIOR to ALIEN... Thus Planet 4 had to be Located more Closer.

@SasquaDash: I really like that idea, and it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the direction the next MonsterVerse film will go in. It’s much more realistic than Kong fighting Gororsaurus or King Caesar. 

Plus, the rumor that the next MonsterVerse film will be titled “Son of Kong” gives some credence to this theory. However, we should keep in mind that the Hollywood Reporter article that originally reported on this rumor stated that “Son of Kong” was only one of many titles that were being tossed around. So it’s entirely possible that the next film won’t be Kong centric at all, or maybe it’ll revolve around Kong discovering more members of his species in the Hollow Earth, but he won’t have a son.

What if the next MonsterVerse film focused on Kong finding more of his kind, the major conflict being his attempts to fit in with them? Think about it, Kong's been alone for most of his life, he's never interacted with another member of his species, so how would he react to being among other Kongs? How would they react to him? Living in isolation on Skull Island may have resulted in Kong behaving differently than the rest of his kind. Maybe the Hollow Earth Kongs view him as an outcast. Kong wants to be part of the group, but for the most part the others don't want him around. This could lead to a pretty emotional story, Kong's finally found others of his kind, yet he's still alone. Kong's journey could be him trying to gain the trust and respect of the group. Another conflict could arise from the social structure of the group, Kong's used to being the ruler of Skull Island and "bowing to no one", so what happens when he has to follow the command of others? Maybe the troop is being lead by a older, aggressive, battle worn silverback who views Kong as a threat to his leadership. This could eventually lead to Kong challenging the silverback which could lead to a massive battle for dominance. Maybe at the end of the film Kong defeats the silverback or ends up defeating another titan that threatens the troop, allowing become the leader of the troop and finally earning the title of "King Kong". Kong could also find a mate within the troop, finally giving him the happy ending that he rightfully deserves.
