Tron 3 is finally being made after seemingly being stuck in development hell for years.
Disney have finally decided to move forward with Tron 3 and have cast Jared Leto as the film's lead actor! Directed by Joachim Ronning and with a script written by Jesse Wigutow, the third Tron film is officially going to be titled Tron: Ares and will follow on from 2010's Tron: Legacy.
Over the past 13 years since Tron: Legacy, a third sequel has had two notable false starts - one in 2015 and another in 2020.
Additional plot details, release date and other casting updates have yet to be revealed but as they become available, we'll keep you posted!
