With Marvel Studios absent from this years Comic Con in San Diego, and with Lucasfilm only showing a behind the scenes featurette at their Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel the stars of the con was split between Fox's Deadpool and Warner Bros. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice; the trailers for each astounding fans and critics in equal measure. But before the Batman v Superman panel aired their new epic trailer, Warner Bros. and DC's other director David Ayer made a brief appearance, showing off the new trailer for his movie The Suicide Squad, which has continued to divide opinion...
The footage, initially recorded at the event on an attendees phone, was leaked online, much to Warner Bros. annoyance, whom then were reported to have announced that the footage was never going to be officially released online, much like the first teaser for Batman v Superman shown at last years event. Yet, as can be seen above the studio has since done a 180 degree and officially released the Suicide Squad trailer.
