I found this gem and had to share; 'Enjoy this 2013 remix production of Metropolis 1927 that gives voices, sound effects, and a fitting score to this amazing Fritz Lang and Thea von Harbou masterpiece-Adds dialogue & narrative using an audiobook based on the original screenplay'. rtm_v10.jpg Return to Metropolis ft. Baptiste Giabiconi & Toni Garrn

I watched this yesterday, very well-done. The only thing that I didn't care for was the use of a steel guitar in the soundtrack, it seemed out of place (near the end). Although, everything else concerning the remix was fine. I think by adding the audio-book track, it makes the film more appealing, and to those that would not ever give a silent film a chance. I also see an awesome colorization of certain scenes (found in the introduction). And that would be fantastic if someday that was done to the entire film, for a future remix. Maybe it's in the works.

Thanks Svanya.

LOL Svanya! thank you for bring this material to us!, Metropolis and Blade Runner share both the same future, analogies like the police station building, you should watch carefully, it's the same structure.

Cool, thanks for posting Svanya :) I own the Blu Ray version. Awesome film with incredible history. The future city set was displayed at one of the worlds fairs. It used a railroad track system to move the tiny vehicles. The Olympic scene was filmed on a beach in Europe somewhere.I guess they really went to town and built an arena with wood and concrete.About ten years ago a developer ran into huge set pieces and statues from the Olympic scene because they buried the sets on the beach after filming.
