Pacific Rim Uprising hits theaters THIS FRIDAY!

Yes but i'm going to see the movie this Saturday.

I'm excited for it too, but I'm might be going to see it next week.

Just got back from the theater a bit ago, and I'm still amped up. This film was a BLAST!  If you are a kaiju lover, you owe it to yourself to go see and support this film.  I think you'll enjoy what you see. :)

I certainly had issues with the pacing and how the story was developed, but overall I was pleased. The final act was everything I needed to be thoroughly entertained. I'll probably see it again sometime tomorrow.

I heard unflattering reviews about the movie but that wont stop me from checking it out. I hope I enjoy the movie. cant wait!

I agree. Seeing the reviews for Kong: Skull Island And Godzilla (2014) didn't stop me from seeing either, so why not do the same here? Can't wait, so excited.

I caught the late Thurs night 10pm 2D showing at the downtown Charlotte NC theater.  Boyega can definitely carry a movie and Eastwood and Spaeny (the girl) were pretty good in the supporting roles.  Day and Gorman were great as usual. Things that were worse than the original: character development, plotstory. Things that were as good or better:  SFX quality and action sequences and conveyance of difference in scale between humans and JaegersKaiju.  We don't get the awesomeness of del Toro's darkness-dripping-neon setpieces but DeKnight more than makes up for it with brightly-lit city-destroying action set pieces where Kaiju and Jaeger are revealed in hi-def glory for your scrutiny !

Just saw it over Spring break last Friday, and it was awesome. Can't wait for when the third one is made.
