The upcoming Pacific Rim sequel, officially titled Pacific Rim: Maelstrom have just cast Spartacus star Nick Tarabay, according to a fresh report from Variety. Details regarding the character Tarabay will play in Pacific Rim 2 are unknown, but as those details arrive, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
Last week, director Steven DeKnight responded to a tweet we sent him on Twitter, where he confirmed casting for Maelstrom was not quite finished yet, but close. With filming having begun days ago, we can likely assume Tarabay will be one of, if not the, final addition to the Pacific Rim 2 cast.
