Although I have strong reservations for the sequel to Ultraman Ginga, (Ultraman Victory's outrageous design, the previous series being one of the worst iterations of the franchise) the new trailer looks like a lot more fun.
Admittedly, there's some Super Sentai elements in the new footage I don't agree with and I'm not sold on Victory's transforming arm. But the return of miniature cities is exciting and I notice there's a new Patrol Team which was sorely missing from the last series. The visuals seem to have improved as well. Hopefully director Koichi Sakamoto breathed some life into this stinker.
Ultraman Ginga S premieres July 15th.
