As reported by Science Fiction.com Karl Urban, while speaking at the Denver City Comic Con, confirmed that a long-awaited sequel to Dredd is indeed in production, although whether it will be in the form of a film or a series has yet to be established.
Yet earlier today the star Tweeted that in actuality a Dredd sequel was not in development, sending mixed messages towards dedicated fans eager to see the Star Trek star reprise his role as Meg City One's premier Judge.
Although Dredd was not a financial success, fans have been desperately awaiting a sequel since it was released back in 2012, so this is certainly exciting news.

Sadly no, there is not a Judge Dredd TV series starring Karl Urban in development at Amazon.
