Although footage of the new Kamen Rider Drive was recently unveiled, the teaser trailer promises something far more exciting than what was initially seen.

There's a classier sense of “cool” to this one than more recent Riders. Perhaps it's the old school association of red sports cars-- It seems to visually work in tandem with the main characters attire (suit and tie) and the sporty look of the new Rider costume. I also like how helmet has an ever so insect-like look to it, similar to the older Riders. I can't say whether or not that was intentional, but it certainly adds a hint of retroactive appeal. Paint me excited about this entry. The series airs in Japan October 5th.
In addition to the trailer is the announcement of the ever expected Kamen Rider Drive vs. Kamen Rider Gaim. The movie is set for a December 14th release this year. Many fans are speculating (or hoping) the overarching plot will include Foundation X, but there's nothing substantial to support that right now.
