Legendary Pictures have just released a very special announcement video by Pacific Rim director, Guillermo del Toro. In the video, Guillermo reveals that following production on his current project, Crimson Peak, he will be bringing an animated series based on the Pacific Rim universe to life, as well as continuing the Year Zero comic series. But the big news that has everyone excited, is the official announcement of Pacific Rim 2's release date wich is currently set for April 7th, 2017! Check out the video below:
Pacific Rim 2 willbe written by Zack Penn and directed by Guillermo del Toro and will be distributed in the U.S by Universal Pictures.
