Yes, you read that right. We’ve covering Grand Theft Auto on Scified. No, we haven’t started covering things that aren’t sic-fi-related, and no, we haven’t gone crazy. We're covering it because GTA Online’s latest expansion decided to take the series in a radically different route.
Titled Deadline, it takes place in a digital futuristic Tron-style sci-fi setting, complete with some of the most awesome motorbikes that you could ever hope to see. Although Disney, who own the rights to Tron, had no part in its creation, it's influence is still abundantly clear.
We may not be getting Tron 3 (sigh), so deadline should at least fill some of the hole in the hearts of Tron fans.
