Independence Day director Roland Emmerich and Lionsgate will be bringing a new sci-fi disaster epic to the big screen early next year! Titled Moonfall, this new film will envision a series of events which would unfold if the Moon which orbits our planet... came to us.
In the trailer and images below you can see that the scale of this production is quite massive, with plentiful chaotic destruction to ensue. Fans of disaster movies and science fiction conspiracy theories alike will find great joy in Emmerich's latest project.
The plot centers around A NASA executive, an astronaut and a conspiracy theorist who travel into outer space to stop the moon from crashing into Earth.
