A new sneak peek of Project Hail Mary aired during the Winter Olympics this week and MGM Studios have released the video online for you to enjoy! The featurette includes a new interview with the film's lead Ryan Gosling and provides a number of new cut-scenes from the film showcasing new footage! Check out the sneak peek below:

What is Project Hail Mary about?

Set in the not-to-distant future, Project Hail Mary (which is adapted from Andy Wier's popular novel of the same name) sees Gosling's character discover and befriend a strange alien entity while trying to find a way to save Earth from annihilation due to the Sun dying. Along the way, he discovers an alien he nicknames Rocky.

Ironically this alien is also trying to find a solution to save their planet as well and the two beings form an alliance to try and find a way to survive the impending doom of the soon-to-be collapsed star.
