With each trailer Shinji Higuchi's Attack on Titan is looking more and more epic. Having had it's world premiere in Hollywood this past week, the film is seeing more publicity in anticipation of its August 1st release in Japan.
The latest trailer regurgitates much of what we've seen already, but new shots include brief snippets of the Colossal Titan, the Smiling Titan and more omni-directional maneuvering gear. Additionally, the subtitles give english speaking audiences an idea of what changes have been made to the material. Take a look:
Early buzz from the Anime News Network has been quite positive. The site claims the film re-imagines the source material as a kaiju/horror film with a Silent Hill aesthetic. However, those looking for an action movie that is a play-by-play retelling of the source material may be left out in the cold. FUNimation has acquired North American theatrical rights to the film for a Fall release. More as it comes.

Attack on Titan will premiere in Japanese theaters August 1st, 2015. The movie's sequel, Attack on Titan: End of the World will hit September 9th, 2015.
