Danny Trejo to bring Lobo to the DCEU?

Mexican- American actor Danny Trejo (Predators, Machete) is one of, if not Hollywoods most intimidating yet probably Hollywoods friendliest superstars. After spending most of his youth in and out of prison Trejo turned his life around after joining the twelve step program and becoming a drug counselor. Getting his first break on the movie Runaway Train, Trejo carved out a career playing henchmen and criminals across American TV and cinema. His past, roles and hard egded appearance unsurprisingly makes Danny Trejo appear as a scary man, yet many fellow actors have called him one of the sweetest, funniest and kindest stars in Hollywood.

The second cousin of director Robert Rodriguez (Battle Angel: Alita; in development) Trejo is also a well known fan of comic books, having previously voiced Bane (Young Justice) and Ox (Spectacular Spider-Man), and as was made apparent in his recent posting (art by John Gallagher) on the popular celebrity social network Twitter...

DC Comics Lobo is a space travelling bounty hunter with a dark sense of humor and a penance for excessive violence. Imagining Danny Trejo in the role would seem like a long shot, but given the voilent scenes seen in the new trailer for David Ayers Suicide Squad I can get behind seeing Machete on a space-bike hunting down Superman.
