Bryan Cranston has confirmed on Twitter that he's playing Zordon in Lionsgate's Power Ranger movie, which finished shooting back in May.
Zordon acts as a mentor figure to the teenage superheroes and has a popular character throughout the history of the series. This also isn't Cranston's first foray into the world of Power Rangers, as he previously voiced monsters on the TV series back in the '90s.
The Power Rangers movie morphs its way onto our screens on March 17, 2017. The official synopsis is as follows:
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
