The Power Rangers will get another crack at the silver screen with Paramount Pictures now actively developing a new reboot with Jonathan Entwistle in talks to direct!
The previous attempt by Lionsgate at rebooting the property was an absolute bust, with the 2017 Power Rangers movie bombing hard at the box office.
Now that the property is being handled by Paramount, the studio is looking to take the franchise back to its roots, THR reports.
Hasbro, who purchased the Power Rangers franchise in 2018 through a multi-million dollar deal with Saban will also produce the film through their film production company Allspark Pictures.
A release date has not been set yet.
