In 2014 Disney announced plans to create an Avatar themed attraction at its Orlanda, Florida resort. Due to open in 2017, accompanying the release of second movie in the planned series, the attraction will recreate part of the alien planets magical and beautifull ecosystem as seen in in the 2009 movie which quickly became the most successful movie of all time. Athough two years remain before the attraction is open to the public Avatar creator, writer and director James Cameron recently visited the attraction to see the progress made so far, and had the following to say...
"Thanks to Disney's amazing Imagineers, people are going to truly experience Pandora firsthand. From the details in the plants to the production and design, extraordinary thought and care has gone into this entire world. The teams have really created something special, and it's not going to be like anything else."
