It has been reported that US GameStop stores have recieved a shipment of promotional banners showing the trademark Batman: Arkham logo, but detailed with flames (pictured below). This combined with news of a dutch journalist who has been reported to have attended a press event held by Arkham Asylum and Arkham City developers, UK based Rocksteady games, but that said journalist is prohibited to reveal anything from the event until March, suggests that a sequel to Batman: Arkham City or Origins is to be released soon.

Speculation that a sequel is to be announced comes from the fact that the new game is being promoted in-store at GameStop; a practice that would not be used for a mer game announcement.
This news comes on the back of the announcement of the April 22nd release date for the long awaited story based DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins entitled Cold, Cold Heart. The DLC which will commence within Wayne manor, will feature the origins of Dr. Freeze, while allowing players to use the XE (Extreme Environment) BatSuit, Thermal Gloves and Thermo-Charged Batarangs. Developers Warner Bros Montreal assure fans that the DLC will provide several hours of gameplay, Watch the trailer below...
