The Walking Dead actor is set to join the cast of Blade Runner 2. He will be starring alongside Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Slyvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, and Harrison Ford. Not much is known yet about his role.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but it is known that the story takes place several decades after the conclusion of the 1982 original and that Ford is reprising his role as Rick Deckard.
Hampton Fancher (co-writer of the original) and Michael Green wrote the new screenplay based on an idea by Fancher and Ridley Scott. The movie is due out in theaters on October 6, 2017.
