Blade Runner fans will be pleased to know that Ridley Scott is actively developing a live-action Blade Runner TV series for Amazon's Prime Video streaming platform!
According to Deadline, the new series will be titled Blade Runner 2099 and will be executive produced by Ridley Scott himself via his Scott Free Productions company. Deadline also reports that Scott may direct a few episodes if the show enters production. Currently the project is in its very early stages with a script being developed right now.
Additional details such as release date, cast info and news of any cameo appearances have yet to be revealed however it sounds like Scott is eager to get the show into production as soon as possible.
