What hologram lasers?

Well for me the plot has me worried. The archaeology reminds me of AVP (I enjoy those films btw, but I expect more from RS). The origin of humaniy element reminds me of the ending to the new BSG (which I hated). The time-travel, portal stuff reminds me of Stargate. All truly terrifying. Having said all that I will still go to the cinema as an optimist, hoping to be entertained.

Hey - George Lucas came up with Jar Jar Binks. That took a lot of genius.

Two different scenes occurring at different time, maybe? What do we know about the movie after all these very enthusiastic speculations? Nada, none, zilch! Absolutely nothing. We have master of temporal manipulation, Damon Lindelof, working the screenplay over, and in addition to that, trailers usually are cut to maximize impact & intrigue, not plot logic. In one of the interviews, either Damon or Ridley said that "...manipulation of reality is very important aspect of the film..."

Fifield is deffo the one on fire jumping from one of the RT's ... and then fighting someone in the hangar ...

Thanx very much. Ive had blood, sweat and tears over this. Next week i should have the first plastic moulding from the silicone moulds i took. Nearly cried the other day when the plaster support mould just collapsed so i have to rebuild that. By the way it has proper cheeks and everything now.....these were early pics.....then for some reason i just stopped taking pics lol. Notice the cycle helmet built in aswell.

Yeah the two super powers bit has been around for a while now ... that's why I suggested Vickers could be with Yutani or even a 3rd party ... iMax 3D is more for the 3D itself isn't it? ... never actually had an iMax experience ... must remedy that one day ... He also said Terraforming was part of the original plan in one of the drafts for the movie ... So the 2 sequels ... "The first prequel will focus on the Space Jockey and how it and its ship came into contact with the aliens. The second prequel will "go to where [the Space Jockey] came from" ... that was back in 2010 though ... Backtracking here trying to get to grips somehow ...

whats looking cheap in this scene for me is the alien dongles but [i]also[/i] dont move vividly like the alien queen in aliens, when she is blown out in space..it just ...hangs. ok, firstly it tries to hide inside the blast pipe..

@Kane77 so please explain how the eggs got there? Sulaco, no eggs The entire crew gets stranded on LV-426, no round trips, everyone is stuck there They come back with Alien Queen, did she have time to stash two eggs? When Bishop flew away due to unstable platform...did he plant them?

I live in Portugal and the release date here is 7th June, I think. Very good news, since movies are usually released in portugal two or three months after their release date in the U.S.

Overall I felt Alien 3 was done pretty well. The situation was interestingand the performances were pretty good. alien 4 is the least worthy of the four IMO, but it's still entertaining even if a little gross at times, like with ripley's alien child. I quite enjoyed it the first time I saw it in the theater.

You know, there's so much negative publicity about Alien 3 but I honestly think everybody's exaggerating. From the first time I watched it (without knowing about the bad scrutiny) I really enjoyed it. I watched the 'assembly cut' not long ago and I thought it was the proper version that should have been in theatres. If you havent seen the Assembly Cut and you didn't like Alien 3, the assembly cut completely changes the plot and plot devices and delves deep into the characters that were killed off relatively quickly in the theatrical version. It's a slow burning film brooding a nihilistic atmosphere that I think reflects Ripley's character (a burnt out, weary warrior). The characters are very real and very distinct. I loved the cast and the relationships that develop naturally. I honestly couldn't find much bad to criticize the film on except for the shameless destruction of Hicks and Newt. Ripley understands she's destined to be stalked by her nemesis forever and goes out with a bang. It would have been best to stop the series here as I will agree I couldn't find much to like with Resurrection (I dont really consider it part of the series, more like fan fiction).

Although i wonder where the acid came from........yes i know from the facehugger....but do the facehuggers spit acid now? Or did it cut itself deliberatley which i dont think so because they seem more programmed than inteligent.

yeah the eggs is an issue...it proves that none of this was thought out properly and episode 3 was crudely pasted on in an attempt to make more money aliens continues from alien...alien 3 does not continue from aliens the pacing of the film is too damn slow, it is also incredibly depressing...definitely my least favourite, even more so than 4

I dont get what u mean, its clear I think . mostly is shown in the beginning.. - the egg was brought on board, Bishop confirms this ´it was there from the beginning´ or similar. - the sub-flooring fire broke out due to the alien acid, this was shown on Ripleys damaged sleeping capsule -the death of hicks and news is for plot dramatism, fits very nicely to the dark charakter of Alien3 the autopsy, too..

I wonder how many cast and crew look on here desparate to jump up and down shouting "Your all wrong.....your all so wrong" lol But they cant because they signed an official secrets act or something lol. Just make sure that this fansite is at the Premier lol.
