Most of this comes from past knowledge and my own cross-cultural analysis. Been looking into weird things like Atlantis and ancient aliens for too long now, ever since taking anthro. back in college. If more people focused on what underwater archaeology could tell us we might know more about so-called ancient aliens. There's a culture near the Bahamas that seems to have brought mound building to the Americas. Only, they were imitating a design seen somewhere else and the closer, or further out you go to the ocean(island hopping) the more steps the pyramid has, even though some of these step pyramids are now submerged. You move further inland and it turns into the Native American mound building tradition. You move south and the pyramid design is preserved into South America, then imitated by the natives that come later. Nowhere near as perfect as the ones at higher elevations, or the coastal areas and in the Andes. There are ancient city sites in central and south America that have been completely submerged for certain periods over the last 4000 years, some still partially submerged.

I'm hoping someone eventually discovers the name of it (maybe something from Gazelle Twins but seems doubtful since her music is very different sounding. And it isnt from AudioMachines).

What I liked about that movie is the whole role reversal aspect ... we were the aliens visiting them ... classic and funny ...

I found the Alien picture book on Ebay a few years ago. Had it back when it first came out, but it was stolen when I took it to school. Also have "The Book of Alien" somewhere, but I know it's in bad shape (cover falling off, pages bent from years of page turning, etc) as is my copy of illustrated Alien (comic book). Glad to see they're re-releasing all of these gems.

The universe difference is what is key here. Blade Runner universe: a replicant is on a cellular level, so blood bone and flesh just artificially created and cloned cells with no capability to mutate or change from basic molded structure. Snapper is right. Discovery is one thing. Getting there is another. If there is a species capable of traveling to Earth which hasn't allready made itself obvious we should hope that we are not important enough for them to even take notice.

alien life yes i think there are possible hundreds of planets out there with life on some maybe humanoid possible even speak a laungage we could understand ! but the issue is they are billions oof years away so even if we sent a signal to them or they to us but the time it got here we or them would be extinct ! faster than light travel? maybe I remember reading some where that id we accelorate as fast as well can , coping with the g forces involved it would take a hundred plus years to get anywhere near light speed . g force dampeners ? are a posibilty but how many thousands of years away are we from having the technology to create them ? worm hole technology ? mmmm I have yet to hear a working plausably theroy on that but !!!!! the speed in which the human race has evovled over the passed 100 years is beyond all belief so theres always hope ;)

Question about the oldest human bones in Asia thing. Did you maybe mean oldest hominid bones? There are non-human hominids that were found over there that I know of. There's primates that wandered over early on, but bipedal Australopithecenes were already getting started in Africa at that time. Not saying it can't be true, but would have required a massive migration of a group of earlier hominids or some sort or simultaneous evolution. Homo Habilis and Erectus didn't wander too far from Africa so I can't see how it would happen, they'd have to be older than the homo sapiens that evolve from the other homo species in Africa. Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal man did spread all over though, way before us, but still even they evolved in Africa first. Cro Magnon and Neanderthal man, because of their bigger builds, were up near Scandanavia and in Siberia when we were still crawling out of the middle-east and spreading into India, far before civilization really gets set up. And Cro-magnons had hunter gatherers going around taking down mammoths, some indications that Neanderthal man did too. Edit: Way later some of us get to hunt mammoths too but by then they're pretty much going extinct.

@canadaphil no i havent seen the FIRST MOVIE im just a fan of the entire series.. since i was about 5 (was when i first saw ALIEN) :P yes of course i have, i know cameron did this and that. And the term xenomorph is also refered to the greek term xenos, which means stranger or foreigner, which would coenside with the term "alien". @svanya yes, i had seen that before, it is trully more disturbing i guess in that way instead of an alien queen, but to be fair i like both, i mean a bioweapon that inturn produces a creature able to create more of itself is truly disturbing, like a virus or something just never ending.

Thanks man, I call it as I see it - I don't follow any religion, I don't idolize science and AAT is merely a possibility that [u]may[/u] explain elements of the first with ideas from the second. Don't get me wrong, I believe in God, afterlife, heaven and hell, Aliens, Black Holes, Wormholes (grey holes IMO, but that's another discussion) etc. I have an open mind, just not a gullible one.
