The church is still recruiting, but they are having a very big problems with finances because they have sued the living cr@p out of anyone who questions them, even if it's innocent as in the case of Debbie Cook. Debbie was a very high ranking member within the church and sent mail out in Dec with a few ideas, and the church attacked her.

No, it's nothing like Scientology. I am good friends with Tory Christman. She goes by the name of ToryMagoo44 on YouTube. She was very high up in the church for 30 years and escaped out in July of 2000. The church attacked her for leaving. She is now trying to help people that have gotten out because the church goes after anyone that leaves or says anything negative. She has helped reunite families that were separated because of church policy. You can Google her story or just talk to her directly though YouTube, feel free to ask her anything, she will usually respond and she is very open about stuff. **She isn't against the teachings of the church btw, she is against the negative aspects of it. Well Religious define Religon as Bible and Koran the others are just Beleafs and Myths and not actually a Religon. So i guess they think the beleaf in a One God is Religon. And the older beleafs from older Civilisations are nothing but lies made by Satan lol, as the Bible was after all written at the dawn of time i.e Book of Genisis. And so we are less than 6000 years old the rest is all lies..... Well i guess if the Bible or Koran said the moon was made of cheese well thats what it would be end of debate. What gets me is their are a lot of simularities in all beleaf systems.

by the way Rick, I figured out that it isn't so much that you need a great surround system to hear it, it's that it happens so fast it's hard to pick up if you aren't paying particular attention to it, it happens at the moment he finishes uttering the line "finish my coffee"...he then does it...with the one cheek sneak...then he says "it's the only thing good on this ship"! Ridley 100% left it in deliberately, there is NO WAY he did not know of it. For me, it is the single greatest unknown fact about that film !!! And as far as I know...am quite proud to have discovered it.

Well for a plannet to support life as we know it, even simple life like say a Cockroach it needs a fair amount of criteria to be checked off. One other big important criteria is a satilite body like our Moon. So i dont think we will find any proof complex life anytime soon, unless they visit us.

I think a good question is a basic one: how long will the film be? I think that that Rating question has been asked to many times and well I don't think the length has been discussed. In regards to Asia: there were so many stages before us. Homo Erectus was still dieing out when we really came into our own and out-bred/out-warred them and Homo Habilis. However, Neanderthal man and Cro Magnon are not directly linked to us. They branch off of earlier hominoids and hominins. Way too many names to remember the ones other than the major steps because some are more like our cousins instead of links in the evolutionary chain (really more of a tree now because the branching is fact in some cases and we use the term last common ancestor). Simultaneous, or branching evolutions (not the technical term) from different primate lines is a theory for these guys. So, I suppose there could be some weird newly discovered, even controversial, Hominid or Hominoid over in Asia. Even something that looks really human. We've found human remains that are 70 000 years old in Canada and Alaska. Which means humans crossed Beringia way before we thought they did. Gov't doesn't wanna admit they're human, and claims they're neanderthal, but some anthropologists claim they really are human. So not impossible for something similar to at least be being argued over.
