How have I missed out on this, LOL(rubs hands together)... 1. Religion - Metaphors, Parables and Fiction written as a guide on how to live ones life, ordained and written by a select few as a means to cater for the many. Problem - writings are so open in their interpretation, they are often used to fuel mankinds worst moments (Crusades, World War Two, Bosnia, Extremists etc.) 2. Science - Evidence, Observations and Records meant to reveal the universal truths of the universe and all within, studied and taught by a select few as a means to educate the many. Problem - Theories, ideas with no foundation can be considered "proven" through selected criteria, debunking criteria that disproves the Theory. 3. Ancient Aliens - Artefacts, Writings and Beliefs meant to fill in the gaps of our understanding both in the past and the present. Problem - Most AA subjects of interest can be explained away by scientific means, but a select few remain unexplained and unexplainable without AA. My belief is that Religion is well intended but often abused by manipulation of its texts, Science is the search for truth but is often used to maintain/create ones position within the elite scientific community and Ancient Aliens tries to explain the mysteries of religion with the principles of science, but often resorts to the grounds of science fiction.

I only have 3 wishes before the end of my life. One is that I can have kids, two is that we discover life on another planet, and three that I can see Prometheus.

Or could it be that Finland has ties to one of the many proposed locations of some of the last islands of the Atlantean kingdom? i WELCOME ALL OF THAT BECAUSE IT SHOWS JUST HOW CLOSE MINDED FEAR CAN MAKE PEOPLE BECOME. That said, I respect all of your opinions and do not mean in any way to demean the validity of any of your arguments, I just took 50 years to make up my own mind about him and his book and after watching the entire ancient alien series to date i am convinced, as mentioned that we are going to find out one day long after we are all dead and buried that on at least 75% of his speculations he was closer to the truth than anyone else ever was. Science itself, the very existence of this discipline, BEGGS US ALL to take his ideas to heart and explore them as deeply as we can...Mankind has longed for truth since it's inception, it is part of that which we value most...to ignore his writings on this subject would be to do a dis-service to the art of discovering Man's Truth's.

I don't like Holloway's outfit. His character seems to be the one who has to be hated by the audience, with his attitude, style and body language. But if it is the scope, then it is well enacted. I think we're both of the hominid line, but they were a cro-magnon/neanderthal man hybrid that was intervened with so the two species could interbreed successfully all the time and produce hybrids that can reproduce. This changes when they devolve after leaving Earth and they're forced to find new ways to reproduce based on the true space Jockey's genetics; their benefactors (most hybrids are born unable to reproduce). Something else terraformed the Earth for us to have just the right conditions for evolution to progress and then they stepped in and gave this first group of hominids a gift that they misused, almost killing the rest of life on Earth in the process, but leaving us a clue as to where the few survivors went: to take on our true creators (these guys could have still inherited the tech and meddled with the homo Sapien line)
