The Many New Characters of SOMETHING REAL and REALITY ECHO
Something Real
MemberLegendApr-24-2018 12:38 AMGreetings and welcome to the official listing of the new Potential Characters presented to the Role-Play Chat by my sister and I! As we have delved further into the many possible characters we could potentially present, my sister and I have found that we are going well above the limits for any given story! As such, we have chosen to present a list featuring all new characters for the viewing consideration of everyone. Thusly, whenever anyone chooses to run a story and would like to include any characters created by my sister and myself - including the new and established ones - they may browse the following list (and/or consider the already-established list of characters) and make whatever selections they would like! However, in accordance with the Role-Playing Rules (established by EMPEROR GORILLAGODZILLA), a story may include no more than 10 of the characters we have presented. Furthermore, whenever a character created by another member of the Role-Play chat wishes to have an encounter with any of the characters my sister and I have presented, he or she must simply inform my sister of me of the desired encounter and we shall facilitate it. :)
Aeomi (The Ice Daughter) The daughter of a human woman and an ice giant whom took human form in the far past, Aeomi (Ay-Oh-Me) is a stalwart and dedicated warrior who leads the life of a mercenary - traveling from world to world and system to system. However, it is not greed which motivates her. Hailing from a destitute star system, Svjortol, on the fringes of her galaxy, Aeomi seeks to to amass wealth and belongings in order to provide for her people. Armed with Gjolta and Sigmor - a pair of enchanted blades forged in dragon fire by her father - Aeomi is a dervish upon the battlefield and is blessed with supernatural strength thanks to her unorthodox parentage.

Janari (The Lore Mother) An enigmatic being from unknown reaches, Janari is a gatherer of lore and knowledge whom seeks to enrich the known Multiverse with her vast stores of learning. Gifted with a photographic memory and the power to "read" souls and minds, she often treats other intelligent beings like books of the utmost interest - seeing them as irreplaceable and unique treasures which must be guarded all costs. Contemplative and sometimes aloof, she is nevertheless a charming and sometimes precocious woman whose true form - that of a serpentine dragon - lends her considerable strength in battle. However, she abhors combat and acts of violence - engaging in them only when absolutely necessary.

Kalshay (The Prophet Nomad)
The youngest member of her ancient species, Kalshay is a member of the race of Sphinxes who dwell in ever-dwindling numbers upon only the most desertous and harsh of worlds strewn sparsely throughout the Multiverse. Capable of taking human form, she is a very shy and reclusive being whom is gifted (or, some would say, cursed) with the ability to glimpse into the future. Driven by visions which haunt her dreams, Kalshay has made it her life's goal to aid the peoples of the stars with her strange gift of foresight. However, others may find it hard to understand her at times, for she - like all Sphinxes - always speaks in rhymes.

Eastwind and Westwind (The Celestial Warriors)
Two of the most powerful members of the Celestial race - the very beings whom guard over the spirits of all kind peoples within the afterlife - Eastwind and Westwind are benign and empathetic warriors who, guided by a sense of utmost duty to justice and peace, have come to the mortal realm in order to aid in the ongoing struggles against the many evils which threaten all. However, their choice has come at a price. Both Eastwind and Westwind no longer remember the realm of peace and light from which they have come - and never again under their own power can they return to their home and their Beneficent Creator. Even so, neither woman is a creature natural to the mortal Multiverse. As such, they require a Mortal Tether - a living being willing to hold their life-force in place by joining it with their own spirit so that they may exist within the Mortal Realm. At present, Kalshay, the Prophet Nomad, stands as the Mortal Tether for both celestials.

Seiume (The Blind Swordswoman)
A Samurai from the feudal world of Daoshen, Seiume (Say-You-May) is a noble-hearted and extremely brilliant tactician whom also happens to have been born without the sense of sight. However, as a result of this shortcoming, her other senses have become magnified to an almost preternatural degree - leading others to believe she might not be entirely human. Capable of "sight" thanks to her other senses, Seiume is utterly lethal in close-quarters combat, wielding the Thousand-Year-Blade - the sword passed down to her from the very first swordsmiths of her people. As a matter of fact, some whisper she may well have been the one to forge that ancient blade - more than 3,000 years in the past. Even so, Seiume is not without flaws. Incapable of sight, she sometimes stumbles or accidentally walks into objects she has not perceived - especially when there is a great deal of ambient sound or smell.

Teo (The Rogue Atlantean)
Little is known about Teo, save this: she is one of the few remaining members of Earth's original Atlantean people. Having fled to the stars long ago to avoid the gradual extinction of her species, she is said to have altered her physiology in the distant past through some lost technology - or perhaps ancient sorcery now forgotten to time. As such, she incorporates features similar to those of an ocean bird - traits which grant her incredible agility, grace and speed. However, there was a price for these enhancements. Connected to Teo's spirit is something...unnatural - a terrible being which is often unseen. Whatever this creature - this monster - is, it acts as both a guardian and jailor to Teo - ever keeping her in check and haunting her every sleeping and waking hour.
