The show was the best thing the franchise had come out with since Beast Wars. Perhaps that's not saying a lot, but it takes a great deal to stand remotely close to the quality of Beast Wars.

In any case, as far as Autobots go, those are the characters and versions of the characters that resonated the most.

GMAN2887 - I agree wholeheartedly! The characters and their personalities were so very fantastic and well-portrayed! The animation was excellent and there was honest "feeling" behind the series. Transformers: Prime was a labor of love from those whom truly know what Transformers is supposed look and feel like! :)

Oh man, this topic brings back so many fond memories of Beast Wars! I also had the pleasure of watching Transformers Prime a few years back, which was much more satisfying than the Michael Bay films. Oh the nostalgia!

More than any other iteration, I would love to see Beast Wars return. But I have next to no faith it would be as well written. Still, I hope one day Hasbro allows us to see the return of Optimus Primal and his crew.
