Top 10 Favourite Mega Evolutions

10. Mega Tyranitar

Kicking this list off is one of the most ungodly powerful Mega Evolutions. With a whopping BST of 700, Mega Tyranitar has ascended to the level of power that Kyurem Black and White have reached. Plus, it has spikes everywhere.

9. Mega Aggron

Mega Aggron is downright tanky. With its Filter ability and high defensive stats, this is one of the best tanks, alongside Zygarde-Complete and Blissey. Its design is also great, adding to Aggron's already immense bulk.

8. Mega Ampharos

This Mega has the best hair of any Pokemon. I don't really understand how it's a dragon, but we'll let that slide because they took one of my favourite Electric types and gave it my favourite type.

7. Mega Garchomp

Much like Tyranitar, Garchomp's Mega took an already beastly Pokemon and made it even better. It also has a 700 BST and has FRICKING BLADES ON ITS ARMS. I think I have a blade fetish, because some of my favourite Pokemon have blades on some part of its body. Gallade? Blades on its arms. Sceptile? Blades on its arms. Haxorus? Blades on ITS FACE.

6. Mega Salamence

Unlike most people, I like this design a lot. It looks like a giant flying croissant dragon, which is downright scary yet hysterical at the same time. Not to mention that it's a beast in battle. However, Mega Salamence is only at Number 6 because there is a much more powerful Mega Evolved dragon to use...*cough cough* Mega Rayquaza.

5. Mega Lucario

This design is serene yet menacing at the same time. It's the first Mega Evolution I ever used, and is a beast in competitive. A high Attack stat plus Adaptability plus a 120 Base STAB Close Combat is a devastating combination.

4. Mega Charizard Y

Unlike most people, I'm not the biggest fan of Mega Charizard X. That thing is pure fanservice, being a Dragon type and all. But Mega Charizard Y is awesome. It looks like the more natural Mega of Charizard, building off of its already great design.

3. Mega Gallade

This is here purely for its design. I love the enlarged blades and cape.

2. Mega Sceptile

Let's face it; Mega Sceptile has the holiday spirit. Its tail is a Christmas tree, it has ornaments running down its back, and it has red and green colouring. This thing is also the first Grass/Dragon type.

1. Mega Rayquaza

Whoa, so shocking. Sarcasm aside, Mega Rayquaza is majestic, and broken, as f*ck. This thing was instantly banned to Ubers, but when it killed the ever-living f*ck out of all the Pokemon there, it was banned from the banlist. Yes, Mega Rayquaza is the only Pokemon in the Anything Goes tier, because it was too powerful for Ubers. And not even Mewtwo is that strong.
