Sci-Lady

It's really been surprising how many new favorites I have compared to the modern mainstream movies that I like. One of my recent favorites is a movie called "Movement + Location".
It's about a woman named Kim Getty who lives in New York during our time, but moved here from her time 400 years in the future. She has this whole normal life that she has built up. She has a roommate and a job. She even dips her toes into the world of dating. It's all very slice of life until a random teenager from the future turns up and that teenager leads Kim into finding her husband from the future. The film had a realistic take on how quickly this woman's "normal" life could be destroyed. It does a great job of filling in just enough details to make you come up with your own ideas and want to know more. My favorite thing about this film is the inclusion of one of my favorite themes in sci-fi, nothing stranger exists than human nature. The movie is on itunes and some other online sites if you want to check it out. The website is pretty decent for behind the scenes information, just movement and location.com
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
