MemberNoobJan-14-2015 1:09 AMI had returned to Japan by the time the Director's Cut was released. And my chances of seeing that magazine title on newsstands were next to null. Despite any factual errors, there is usually something of unseen value within these vintage magazines.
A few details concerning ATARI, and RCA, aren't correct. Plus how 'exactly' Ridley came to use the outtake footage from Stanley Kubrick. However, this was from before the information age, and a small number of mistakes (or creative liberties) often were expected in print media. The producers should've left the year in the film at 2020, and for the very same reason they changed it.
