The top 10 greatest moments in the franchise. Remember, there may be some that are left out and it's nothing personal. Just business ;)

10. Begun, the clone war has-

Seeing thousands of clone troopers marching in formation on to their transports was just epic. Plus the Imperial March playing in the background really added to the epicness. It also gave some awesome foreshadowing to the future Imperial Army.

9. Order 66

From Commander Cody ordering his men to fire on Kenobi, to Skywalker marching on the Jedi Temple with the 501st, Order 66 ushered in a new order. It showed even Jedi weren't totally invincible.

8. The Sith Rise Again

Here we see an epic 3 way faceoff. The Sith have now revealed themselves and the neverending rivallry between them and the Jedi will now rise again.

7. Master vs Padawan

For the first time in the series, we see Yoda in action and he doesn't disappoint. Not so surprisingly, he forfeits the battle with Dooku to save Kenobi and Skywalker from their doom.

6. Jedi vs Bounty Hunter

Even though the Jedi vs Sith battles are cool, a Jedi fighting a bounty hunter is just as good. We see Jango Fett, one of the most badass characters taking on one of the greatest Jedi known. Pretty dang cool.

5. The Rebels First Big Win

The underdogs managed to beat the odds. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the rebels pull out and destroy the immense Death Star. 

4. Yoda vs Sidious

Arguably two of the most powerful characters in the franchise, a faceoff between Yoda and Sidious was one of the greatest battles ever in the franchise. Even though Yoda managed to hold his own, even he had trouble with the veteran Sith.

3. The Circle Is Now Complete

Like Yoda vs Dooku, this is another classic Master vs Student situation. Not only that, but this was the first lightsaber battle in the whole series. Even though it wasn't nearly as "exciting" as later ones, it's still the first and that counts for something.

2. Father vs Son

The ultimate battle between good and evil. The concept of Father vs Son is one for the ages and Star Wars did it perfectly. In the end, we see Vader's true self come out of the darkness and save his son, though it meant laying down his life. The Chosen One said to bring balance to the Force, in the end, did.

1. I Am Your Father

By far the most memorable scene in Star Wars, the moment Vader revealed he was Luke's father left audiences everywhere gasping. They never saw it coming and it was brilliantly done. Not to mention the fact this is perhaps one of the most heavily repeated lines in all of movie history.
