Really interesting techniques that Douglass Trumbull used in Blade Runner as well as his other movies. His name has always been synonymous with high tech cinematography.

speaking of Doug Trumbull, he has invested his own money in a very facinating project entitled UFOTOG, which uses his strong special effects cinemetography skills to search for real UFOs. He believes that a well funded and equipped effort will soon produce irrefutable evidence for UFO sightings that will hold up to the peer reviewed scientific community.
