For Sasha and Alexis. It is never ever made clear of their relationship other than they are ex prison guards who have unorthodox methods and do not give up. The actors and director never made it clear if they are siblings or a married couple. I guess it's whatever the fans think.

Yes, that is true, all the information around the movie never describe their relationship. I think they are a couple. But I was thinking in the books it was clear.

Is there a novel about this? because maybe there is a better way to explain this kind of thing, a comic book would also be good :D

An interview with Robert Malliet confirmed that they are a married couple. Alexis and Sasha are husband and wife. I wonder why the movie never explained this.

i'm digging shambs picture and i think a comic series about the pacific rim movie would be cool. one for each chapter of the movie. what i want to know is if Macao and Raleigh are now officially a couple now cause he saved her life and she was crying when he died

There is a mistake in the film because in russia Kaidonovsky is a last name for male (Alexis) so Sashas last name should be Kaidonovskaya (surname for female).
