In the movie, there is a mention that at one point there were 30 Jaegers once they moved operations to Hong Kong. We later learn that they are down to just 4. I also believe that there were more than 30 at some point also. This storyline/universe is so open ended, I see spin-offs and prequel/sequels for many years to come! Lynx Foxtrot out

Hope that's the case... I'd love to see some of the jaegers listed in the wiki in action. I believe two were thrashed by that Kaiju that attacked australia BTW, just before it tore down the wall and got pwned by Striker Eureka.
