June 25, 2013Personally, I'm disappointed by what Ramin Djawadi has come up with. I've listened to every snippet that Amazon has (yes, I know they're samples) and they are a pretty good indicator of where the track is going. Bottom line? None of it sounds EPIC. We have a movie about giant robots fighting giant monsters. That NEEDS epic music. If anything, I'm liking the music from the trailers better. What Djawadi brings, it sounds like his [i]Iron Man[/i] work. Right now, it sounds as if he should stick to Westeros and keep away from sci-fi.
I'll wait until I hear the whole thing, but if the music continues like the samples, I'm disappointed in what he's brought to the table.
