Which do you prefer?

I was going through some old books of mine the other day, and I came across this... I can see the merits of both sides, but I want to know which did YOU prefer as a kid (or even now)? I really enjoyed the newer version, and the spinoff series Caprica.

I never had the Photostory, nor knew it existed, but did have the novelization. And with the actual shows ...I liked both the classic (watched when it was originally broadcasted), & the re-imagined (watched as the home video releases came-out, after the season). Although, I didn't like "Galactica 1980" ...aside from the Starbuck episode (however depressing). I haven't seen the rest of the re-imagined spin-offs, yet ...I'm in no hurry to watch them. I will likely always favor the classic series overall, simply because of it's sentimental value, etc. S:)
