Here’s a collection of Polaroids that actress Sean Young took during the movie’s filming back in 1981. I will post the entire album on the gallery once it is up and running. Great pics. Sean Young was stunning.... Rutger Hauer is a legend. Roy Batty has to be one of my favorite movie characters of all time. Powerful, intelligent, poetic, a romantic. An amazing character. Can't wait for more photos...

That's great. Thanks for posting these.I'm also convinced Deckar was a replicant based on Harrison's expression on the polaroid pic here ;) Two more days until Seattle and the Spinner. Were gonna have a new thread with 14 megapixel pics of our favorite blue vehicle(with a few self-portrait of yours truly in the frame beside it).

I liked the pix of Sean's hair design. I can recall looking at my Mom's picures from the 1940 with what looks like similar hair styles. ' I am sure RS had a reason for approving this style for Sean. To me it was a reminder of ladies of the early to mid 20th Century. I have not seen the movie for awhile I would be curious if there were any musical references to the mid 20th Century.

Yes Rachel's hair design was along with many aspects of the costuming in BR, meant to evoke the film noir of the 1940's. I always thought this was a great cinematic concept. It will be interesting to see how RS continues it in BR2.
