Cypher
Co-AdminMemberNoobAug-28-2012 8:34 PMPersonally, I think the original was damn near perfect, and still looks good to this day (sure some of the clothes and weapons are out-dated, but a lot of that stuff is still in use even today!)
I'd LIKE to see not very much CGI AT ALL when it comes to:-
ED-209
The Robo armour (it still looks like it'd REALLY work)
Anything, really. I HATE the overuse of CGI nowadays.
I watched The Amazing Spider-Man last night for the first time, but, from the very first time I watched the trailer for it I knew the CGI would be GLARINGLY obvious, and it was. I thought I was gonna puke during the final battle bertween Spidey and The Lizard, because I don't think they really existed. Either the characters or the sets. Wasn't too sure about the whole thing, and I'm a HUGE Spider-Man fan. I did like the mechanical web-slingers though ;-)
CGI needs to take a back seat to good story telling and real set pieces, IMHO.
What about you guys? What are you hoping for this time around?

"Is it dead this time?" "I dunno, poke it with this stick and see."
