Three months before it be will aired on the Fox network, the whole first episode, titled "My Struggle", of the X-Files revival season will be played to those lucky to be in attendance at this years Cannes Film Festival on October 6th. For the New York Comic Con, the advance screening will take place on October 10th, between 1:15pm and 2:30pm on the main stage, after which fans will particpate in a Q&A session with the show's creator Chris Carter and one its stars David Duchovny. Fox will also be holding panels for, and showcasing other shows at the NYCC including Minority Report, Lookinglass, Bordertown and Sleepy Hollow.

About the X-Files reboot
Ryan Coogler (Sinners, Black Panther, Creed) is rebooting The X-Files for Disney and 20th Century Studios. While specifics about the reboot remain shrouded in secrecy, it's rumored that David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) will be making a return and reprising their iconic roles for the new series.
