A new trailer for the forthcoming new Star Trek TV serial Star Trek: Discovery was recently released at the San Diego Comic Con. Showcasing much more of the shows ensemble cast and exploring more of the shows mythology and story into the beginnings of the war between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire, this new trailer definitely sets the tone for the new show which will first appear on the streaming service CBS All Access, September 24th.
While we love this new, edgier trailer for Star Trek: Discovery we are unsure about the use of Jetta's "I'd Love To Change The World". While the song does suit the tone of the trailer, it is somewhat overused having been used to promote Terminator Genisys, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Nightcrawler, as well as appearing in a plethora of TV episodes.
